Pundik

🐾 Meet Pundik. The story of one little heart ❤️

Pundik came to us from Vinnytsia. Now he is one of those to whom we strive to give what matters most: care, safety and the chance of a happy life.

Every animal that comes into our care has its own story. Sometimes we know it from the very beginning, and sometimes we can only guess what this little creature had to go through before meeting people willing to help.

Pundik has also travelled his own path to end up here with us. And now we want as many good days as possible to lie ahead for him — hearty breakfasts, peaceful sleep, affection and human warmth. So that he’s always surrounded by those who won’t hurt him, betray him or leave him in trouble.

For us, Pundik is not just another cat in our care. He is a living being who deserves love, attention and a decent life. It is for stories like this that we carry on with our work, even when we’re running out of strength and the worries and expenses keep mounting.

Today, the ‘Staryi Druh’ Charitable Foundation is caring for 150 dogs and 42 cats. Each one needs food, care and, sometimes, medical treatment. We very much hope that there will be people by our side who are ready to become part of these little stories of rescue.

May Pundik’s story serve as yet another reminder that kindness exists, and that the path to a better life can begin with a simple human decision — to help. 🐱💛

Please help us look after Pundik and the other cats in our care. Even a small contribution brings us closer to the day when each of them will have everything they need.
