Dora

Dora ended up in a shelter after losing her owner.

She spent three days locked in a flat without food or water until one of our volunteers brought her to us.

Dora has cancer. Sadly, due to a lack of funds, she is not yet receiving the treatment she needs… 💔

Dora isn’t just a dog.
She knew what a happy life was like.

She used to live right in the centre of Kyiv. Every day she would go for a walk in Mariinsky Park, and then return home — to her sofa, to her owner.

She was a family dog. Beloved. Surrounded by care.

And then it all came to an abrupt end.

What at first seemed like normal age-related changes turned out to be far more serious.

After tests, the doctors gave her a terrible diagnosis — a malignant tumour in her breasts.

Cancer.

Silent. Insidious. The kind that strikes without warning.
